The Department of Elementary Education provides general support to elementary schools
andsupervision of elementary principals. The Assistant Superintendent oversees this department.
Department staff provide guidance for parents and assist with questions about elementary education and program opportunities. The Olympia School District has 11 neighborhood elementary schools dedicated to serving students in our community.

2019-20 Parenting Workshops
The Olympia School District is pleased to offer free child development workshops with Candyce Lund Bollinger. Bollinger is a parent educator and private parenting counselor in Washington State and has been practicing for more than 35 years. She provides classes and consultations for schools, colleges, civic groups, private organizations and has a private practice. She is the mother of four children and has two grandchildren.
