Winter break 2020-21
Winter break schedule
All Olympia School District schools will be closed for Winter Break from Monday, December 21 through Friday, January 1. Schools will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2021. During Winter Break, staff working in the Knox 111 Administrative Center and other support buildings may be reached via email or phone December 21 and 22, and again from December 28-30. All support buildings will resume service on Monday, January 4.

Hybrid Learning (primary)
Hybrid learning form due by Dec. 18
We have extended the deadline to this Friday, Dec. 18, for families to submit the Shift to Hybrid Learning form in Skyward Family Access. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you want your student to remain in 100% distance learning.

Every year, inevitably, snow or severe weather conditions lead to a delay in start times or the closure of our school buildings. This year, with most of our students learning remotely, we have modified plans for school schedule changes, as well as the way we will communicate with families about inclement weather.

Every year in December, the Olympia School Board elects officers for the coming year during its annual reorganization. At its December 10 meeting, the board elected Scott Clifthorne as this year’s board president and Maria Flores as vice president.

Fall meal distribution at OSD
Free meals continue throughout school year
Students may pick up free grab-and-go lunch, and if desired breakfast for the following day, at school district meal distribution sites starting on the first day of school Wednesday, September 9.
